Tomoyuki Kawabata (Okayama, 95th term) won a silver medal in the men's Keirin event of the "2018 Bicycle Trucking World Championship" held in Aperdorn, Netherlands on March 1 (local), 2018.
The podium for men's Keirin at the World Championship is the first achievement since Minoru Yoshioka (retirement), who finished third in 1993.
