On February 28 (local), Yudai Nitta (Fukushima, 90th season) won a silver medal in the men's Keirin event at the 2019 UCI Truck World Championships held in Plsekw, Poland.
The podium for men's Keirin at the World Championships will be the second consecutive year, following Tomoyuki Kawabata (Okayama, 95th season), who finished second last year.
