On February 28 (local), Yudai Nitta (Fukushima 90th term) won a silver medal in the men's Keirin event at the 2019 UCI Truck World Championships held in Plchekv, Poland.
The men's Keirin podium at the World Championships will be the second consecutive year following Tomoyuki Kawabata (Okayama, 95th term), who ranked second last year.
